Welcome Back

Hey there. I know it's been too long since I shared anything here, but as usual, life happened. However, as part of my New Year's resolution, I vowed to revive this blog, given that I have an obscene number of food photos on my phone waiting to find a home somewhere, lolz. Anyway, getting right into it, this is an update post, talking a little about the direction I want to take with this blog and future content. 

Happy New Year!!! I hope the first month has treated you well, but if not, there are 11 more months for things to turn around, and I pray they are merciful and abundant for you.

The last 2 years have been the best for me. Not to say there haven't been some challenging times, but things finally aligned, and I reached that point where I feel peaceful with life. It's the same with my health journey; I've had highs and lows, but every moment helps me discover how resilient, adaptive, and dynamic my body can be.

I switched from low-carb to "regular eating," then terrible eating, and back to keto and then low-carb again. It's been a cycle. However, last year, I finally found what works for me, a long-term solution. I started strength training, lifting heavy weights, and carb cycling, which I will discuss in future posts. I'm on a weight loss journey that I look forward to sharing, and it's going superbly well. 

Overall, life has been kind to me, and as a way of paying it forward, I want to share the knowledge I have gathered through my numerous weight loss journies to get to this point. I am not an expert or professional, but I can share some beneficial tidbits for those on the same path here and now.

I fell in love with cooking all over again, and it's the reason I wanted to revive this blog - to share all my Low-carb, keto recipes. 

So, allow me to reintroduce myself. I am Bernadette, a fitness junkie who loves to cook, take lots of photos, and I'm more than happy to start sharing it all again.
