How To Make Samosas At Home

I realized quite early on, when I also discovered my love for cooking, that I enjoy making anything that involves dough. It all started with my love for chapatis, I can literally make them in 15 minutes, I kid you not. That doughy mix of goodness, I don't know who invented it, but God bless you and your entire clan! I digress, but needless to say, I enjoy cooking anything that requires me to play around with dough. That's how I set out to learn how to make samosas.

I am by no means an expert, but I have given it a shot a couple of times, and I believe that the more I make them the more I become better at it. I made these when visiting my parents over the past week, and I must say that I ended up buying some suspicious meat, but my parents said they did not find anything unusual about it.

Also, I am currently on keto, which means I cannot inhale, touch, breath, ok, let me stop with the dramatics, I just cannot chow down on wheat products. Believe me, I make these treats and do not touch a single one.

I use past experience plus recipes to guide me through the cooking process, but it's quite the experience cooking when you cannot taste your own meals. I often have a few eager assistants who are always happy to do the tasting, so it isn't as bad as it sounds. I can go on, and on as usual, but let me save you the bunter and get right to it.

Before that, a funny one, the first time I made these, I figured it's just like making chapatis. So I cooked the chapatis and stuffed them with meats and veggies and refried them, let's just say that was one funny yet memorable lesson.

Making the pockets also isn't as hard as it seems, but the whole samosa making process is quite a task. It's even more fun if you have a helping hand. Follow the steps below to make the samosa pockets and fill them up.

EDIT: I re-edited much of this and if you follow my blog you'll realize it. I keep making these more and more, and I'll try to take more photos to give a better insight into how to make them.

I do hope that you appreciate this recipe, even though it is missing a couple of steps. Do let me know if you try it and how your samosas turned out.
